Glitter on the wet streets

We had a little kick-back at the house for new years. No crazy parties or loud music but it was pretty fun! In the afternoon we all made party hats and masks and in the evening watched movies, played games, and toasted the new year with party poppers, kazoos, and cider! I went all black and gold this year; not on purpose, it just came together that way. One of my new years resolutions is to wear more jewelry because I have a ton but rarely use it. So I put on this amazing F21 necklace which I've never worn before. I literally just saw it on the rack and paid for it! I was happily surprised because I thought it was all connected and didn't realize it had that beautiful 'dripping in chains' look. Been itching for a reason to wear this sparkly vintage dress (worn as top) and finally found the perfect moment. Happy 2010 everyone!!! It's going to be wonderful....
vintage glittery dress worn as top, vintage men's blazer, F21 skirt and necklace, vintage bag, Michael Kors cut-out wedges (sorry for wearing these so much! they're my favorite pair!), and self-made party hat and mask
ps- thanks Ava for the lipstick! it's perfect!

Happy New Year! Sorry it's so late I don't have internet at my new apartment so I'm back at my parents house to steal a bit of theirs. You know what I am really jealous of? The red plastic cup in that last picture. What I want in my life most of all are some red plastic cups - you see them in every american movie and we just don't have them over here! I nearly hosted an american high school themed party for NYE so I could get some off the internet but they wouldn't have come in time so we did 80s instead. I just love red cups!! :) x
