It's all downhill from here

200th post!!!
I thought I might commemorate it by posting something a little different :)
Sometimes when I get bored I like play dress up. But I guess that's the whole idea behind fashion blogging anyway, every day is a fashion show!
Some of my favorite NYFW shows -I love seeing the clothes actually moving, so much better than pictures...

Proenza Schouler- they always do something different and it always surprises me in a very good way. I love it when as you watch the clothes come down the runway you can kind of see an evolution. They opened with some really thick, dark pieces in navy blue and black and then closed with colorful metallics! Loved the prints and colors and amazing Manic Panic hair!!

DKNY- not really the most inspiring collection ever but I really liked all the flower prints! So cute and girly, especially when mixed with all those androgynous jackets and trousers. The collection seemed vaguely Warhol inspired.

Rodarte- of course I loved Rodarte! Perhaps more for the artistic value of the clothes, but that is always so exciting to see! When designers can make a simple dress or a pair of shoes into a work of art. Rodarte is one of the best examples of that.

It's really the Paris shows I can't wait for though!
