Well, it's finished! After three days of madly shredding away at this beautiful cardigan I finally got the look I wanted. I must credit the inspiration to
She's Dressing Up who posted the picture (below) of a Rick Owens shredded cardi
months ago that's been haunting me ever since. The main trouble for not getting this started earlier was that I couldn't find a drapy cardigan I was truly satisfied with. After looking through the racks at Forever 21, Wet Seal, Urban Outfitters, The Goodwill, anywhere I could think of,
I finally found one on accident at Target. I met my match! I chalked onto the sweater before-hand where I wanted my panels and I used
the shredding tactic Camille posted to get that drapy, unraveled look. Today I paired the cardi with all nude tones so that it would especially stand out. Together I think it looks a little like M.M. Margiela :)
Wearing DIY'd shredded cardi and nylons from Target, AA nude tank, Ross shorts, Steve Madden pumps, and various F21, vintage, DIY'd, and Express necklaces The inspiration, A Rick Owens shredded cardi from I
think A/W 08 (can anyone tell me if this is correct?)

I wouldn't say the underneath of this outfit is the most flattering, but that cardigan is one BAMF, if I do say so myself. How does one "shred?" I tried once.. failed. Couldn't figure out how to do it...
and thank you for the comment deary :)

I'm glad you didn't take it the wrong way. Cause girl, we've ALL got to be careful with super tight things... cause most of us aren't actually microscopic Kate Moss look-alikes.
You've got spunk.
I admire spunk.
I. Love. This.
