Out of focus

This here is the perfect example of how my style contradicts itself. Completely not on purpose I was all country cowboy yesterday and today I'm like urban chic or whatever you'd like to call it. It's just my mood I guess. I wear what I want and what I'm in the mood for. It's simple really, the process of me getting dressed. Most days it goes something like this- I wake up, drink my coffee so that I'm in a reliable state of mind, perhaps stare at the inspiration pictures on the door of my closet or just think to myself for a moment, and decide what type of outfit I am in the mood for. From there it's pretty straight forward; I'll rummage through various hangers of jackets, dresses, blouses etc. in my closet, sort through the pile of current DIY projects, try a couple things on, take them off because they don't fit the style I'm going for, and continue on until I'm satisfied with something (or just ran out of time and quickly force myself to make a decision).
Wearing a vintage blazer, Gap shorts, Charlotte Russe studded heels, DIY'd chain belt, Hot Topic studded cuff, and F21 earrings

Gorgeous - such a good look! I love how you always wear different things - thats why it's always exciting visiting your blog because I never know what I'm going to get!

As for the shoes I had to pick them (he wanted to buy me a rollerskating unicorn..). And on the language front, I used to do French outside of school when I was about seven and then started again in school when I was 11 and it made it loads easier - I got 98% in my first exam! German I did for a year in school and then speak the basics when we go skiing every year and Latin I did for a year in college and it comes in handy with Law (Salve meae delicae is hello my darling if I remember correctly!). I'm not fluent by a long stretch but I always like to have a try at new languages though because English people have got such a bad reputation for going on holiday and just speaking english louder and more slowly until someone understands and it is so ignorant! Phrase books are the way forward! HUGE comment there haha :) x

Another great outfit. It's funny that you mentioned the Hearst Castle, in one of my classes on Monday, my teacher went on and on about it, encouraging us to go there if we ever get the chance, lol. And I thought of you.
