So here's a couple random shots of that tutu/skirt I've been taking forever at making. I'm not much of a seamstress so I guess that's why most of my projects involve cutting, shredding, bleaching, hand sewing, you know -that type of thing. Anyway this is how the skirt has been for a while and probably will stay until I can find the time to make it into something a little more like this:

I thought it was about time I actually posted it after all my talking about it.
Wearing DIY'd blue chiffon skirt and sequined headband, JCPenny's top, Target wet-look leggings, Steve Madden platforms, and Express belt
ps- sorry about the super wierd editing! The lighting was very strange...

so i can't wait to see what you do with this
skirt later on(: very excited!
& the sequined headband adds a fun touch to the outfit! loves it.
oh! and about the shorts...i think you should try stencils and some sort of paint and see how it goes. and maybe put a little rhinestones on a few of them? just to make it cute and fun(:
and i must say...i think you're the queen of DIY's(:

You are CA-UTE !
Good job ! You make it look like done by a seamstress !
L O V E S the look and I especially love the lipstick job!
adorable.
I love it at this stage and can't wait to see it finished! The lighting looks great as well so no apologies needed - I wish my photos turned out like that but it's always so overcast here that the lighting just looks really flat!
When are you going on your massive six week trip by the way? I need to know so I can prepare myself for withdrawal symptoms from your blog! :) x
i love everything about this!!
