Vintage

When my grandmother died all of us kids were aloud to raid her closet. Unfortunately I was too young to appreciate her wardrobe and wasn't interested in any of her old clothing or accessories -though she was so small I probably couldn't actually wear anything of hers except jewelry. So when my older sister passed down some of grandmother's necklaces I was really excited. Here's one I especially like.

Shirt, tights- Target
Skirt- JCPenny's
Shoes- second-hand
Necklace- vintage

I went to my Nans the other day and tried to look for some interesting things in her wardrobes that she never wears any more because as a child me and my sis always used to get dressed up in her clothes which were all mad and sequined. Sadly she'd given everything to charity shops which I told her off for! Its great that you've found something so pretty to keep hold of :) x

oh so many of my clothes/ accessories are form my grandma and oma.
I took the picture on a holga, a medium format tory camera where you don't have to advance the film if you don't want to so you can can multiple exposures. it is loads of fun.

Looking gorgeous, lady! Don't you love when things get passed down like that? I steal my mother's jewelry from the 80's haha!

I wear a lot of my Nonna's jewelry too, there are some beautiful treasures. I don't wear her clothes, I don't know why, I just find it a little bit weird wearing a dead person's clothes, but I do wear her bags a lot too, they look great and remind me of her :)

Also - great skirt!
