Haven't worn this tutu inspired skirt in a while but as I woke up this morning to gray skies and a windy city this really just felt wonderful. The color of the chiffon and tulle overlay matches the stormy sky and the wind truly works wonders on my skirt. I'm sure you can see that though! However the one problem that occurs while wearing this is that I risk looking a little too sugar plum fairy and not enough retro rock chic like I love. Perhaps I went a little overboard trying to toughen it up with the motorcycle vest, studded cuff, and pretend faux-hawk but thats clothes right? You'll never know until you try!
Wearing self-made skirt, Target tee, Zara motorcycle vest, Steve Madden booties, and Marshenwear studded cuff

ReplyDeleteI actually think you did a great job by mixing up the rock chick vest and the studded bangle with that cute ballerina skirt! It is a really sweet mix that really works! :D
